Got the go-ahead from both work and spouse to do the whole thing. Going to embarrass myself by trying to ride from Boston to DC in 5 days. Still working out logistics. Probably take the train up.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Dirt’s out there today, slogging away at the last portion between Baltimore and DC. I think he did 71 miles yesterday, averaging 19mph. That’s not slow.

The ride was great, definitely a lot of fun, and not without some unexpected challenges. The cool thing was that we raised close to $20,000 for Bikes Belong, we met a lot of great people along the way and I finally found a way that I can be a bicycle advocate using my legs instead of my mouth and brain.

Thanks for all who donated. I believe I ended up being the #3 fund raiser for the ride.
