I’m starting something different for the Thursday Night rides. Thursday night is going to be more of a group ride. We’ll go at a steady 14-16mph pace and just stay together as a group. These rides will go a few different places on a few different loops over the weeks. Doing the same loop two nights in a row is a bit of a yawner.

Tonight we’re going to go do the tour of fairfax loop. It goes through Vienna and out around Wolftrap.

Pre-ride at 4:30.
Main Event at 6:30

Thursday ride was AWESOME! The new format made for a fun ride and something truly different from Wednesday night. I don’t know how much longer we’ll be able to do the long loop… we were pushing awfully close to sundown tonight. We might be able to get one more week if we leave promptly at 6:30pm.

Actually they’re usually quite mellow on Cedar. We’re only on Cedar for 1/4 mile. We occasionally encounter a clueless person on that stretch, but haven’t had anyone get upset at us yet. We met a couple of people who needed a hug as we went past The Barns At Wolftrap though. I offered… no-one took me up on it.
