The barbecue was $15, with a small buffet for side items. The brisket was very very fatty (probably real brisket and not just a slab of meat someone was calling brisket) but the sauce was great.
Thanks for the info baiskeli…. hope to see you tomorrow. I had a feeling some of the beers were pretty pricey but was hoping the tap beer was more reasonable. They were nice enough to waive the reservation minimal fee which was more than other establishments in Clarendon but they don’t have any happy hour specials (except in the wine bar upstairs). If I’d known it was going to be so hot I might have jumped at the chance to sip chilled wine indoors! Oh well. My understanding is that the Brisket is on Tuesdays and the sausages are the Thursday cuisine, hopefully not as fatty!

ParticipantIt’s possible I’ll be there. We have peeps coming at 6:30pm, and I’d have to sneak out of work early, but those can be managed. And apparently I need a drink.
It’s also possible that Husband will bring Kids on the eBakfiets. They don’t need a drink, but he might after today.
