ParticipantThanks to everyone that came out last night and sat in the Sauna formerly know as Northside Social! We had a fantastic turn out despite the heat and impending storms. Hope everyone got home safely (sorry John for your troubles), looking forward now to next month. A special thanks to Tim and Zana for providing us with a bunch of cool BA stuff to give out. The mustache winners were:
First to arrive – Steve and Adrienne
Last to Leave – Dbb, rcannon100, Patriciahere are a few pics from the evening:
The dread dismal combo (feared by many)

It’s terrible because I feel so helpless. I can’t do anything meaningful. Both of those two despicable [expletive deleted] have probably already forgotten.
I can totally relate to this. In fact, just last night an a$$hat with Alabama tags was coming out of our favorite driveway at the Marriott, and rolling through the stop sign onto the trail. There was a steady stream of cars coming from the other direction. I said something, he stopped, I rolled through, but just when I was in front of his car, he honked. A$$hat.
The good news is that he’s out of my life. I’m not him, I don’t know him, I don’t have to work with him. Some people are just not nice, and we can find joy that they’re not in our lives. Or at least try. And hope that karma will find them soon.

ParticipantHappy hour was a success – I was happy for an hour.
My thanks to Dickie too, even though the cheap bastard made me pay for my own drinks.
Some notes on the photos:
I arrived right after Steve and Adrienne and rode out with rcannon. I want credit for my time drinking beer and neglecting my family.
The Dasgeh family showed up briefly – a valiant effort after a night of vomit inhalement, I must say.
In the pic of Mrs. Dickie and me, she is the pretty one, in case you were confused.Nice seeing everyone!

ParticipantWow, hats off to the woman who pulled *two* kids in this heat, in a skirt to boot!
I’m going to go lie down now….the pics make me feel very, very tired….

ParticipantMany thanks to Dickie for setting this up. Sorry Big Nellie and I had to leave early-ish. We made it home just before sundown after a pleasant tour of the streets of Arlington.

ParticipantThanks, Dickie, and to Adrienne and Mrs. Dickie, who flirted with Ryder until I got there. The entire Dasgeh family had a great time. Sorry it was a short visit. Good to see everyone, however briefly

Most of the offenders appear to be delivery trucks. Don’t most of these buildings have loading docks? If not, then it’s time to change the building code.
