    Since I can’t be there we’re doing a Hail and Farewell here in Kyiv. Last night was at Pivna Dima where I had their flight of four house beers (.1 liter each) to welcome our new facility manager. Tonight was Dog and Tails (think upscale Haute Dogs and Fries), the first of our assistant Regional Security Officer’s farewell restaurant tour. I had their house American Pale Ale. Tomorrow is an as yet un-named Chinese restaurant. Thursday is the official Embassy event. Then there are two more as yet undisclosed restaurant next week. almost as busy a social schedule as the morning coffee clubs and assorted happy hours.

    I’m going but will be there late. I’m doing the Alexandria Bike/Ped Counting on the Holmes Run Trail from 5-7 pm, so I should be there by 7:30.

    Thanks again for a fine Third Thursday Happy Hour. I tried to crop Cannon out of the photo, but he kind of crept in anyway.
