I will be there, but today is one of the days for the Alexandria Bicycle and Pedestrian Count (5-7 pm), so I will come afterwards ~7:10ish. Luckily, the spot I am counting at this afternoon is not far away (Menokin Dr/Van Dorn St where the new buffered bike lanes start).

I was so sad when I got home last night and saw people’s return trips from Happy Hour on Strava! I was really looking forward to coming this month, but completely missed the part about Sept 1st being on a Thursday!

I tried to console myself by pointing out that I would’ve missed it due to work anyway, but still… Anyway I’m sorry missed it and was unable to chat with everyone about their September bike adventures.

I was surprised to see so many people still there past 7 when I arrived. The time really flew by, as it wasn’t until almost 10 that the last of us left. I could’ve sworn it was only 8:30! Thank you, again, Kathy, for organizing!
