Great evening. A special shout out to our wonderful organizers and to Dismal, who literally “showed” me the way home with his lights as I was ill prepared for an after dark commute today.

Thank you everyone for a fun meet up! I know I haven’t been on the forums long, but I already feel so welcome! It really was great to see people behind the usernames.

And oh man, GovernorSilver, I hear ya. I did the Gunson-Valley route to get to Braddock because the Google recommended it. It got points for being a direct route, but those hills were not a trifle with a full belly!

Sorry I missed this. Had dinner with wife and daughter. Latter is off to Sydney today. What was dinner? Outback takeout.

I did give myself some extra time to digest my dinner before riding out.

That descent down Braddock was fun. I was surprised I only hit 30 mph, sure felt faster.
