Thanks! I’ve tried Diagonal once so far, including the tunnel under Duke St. to Dulany. I walked it after reading reports about security guards yelling at cyclists to dismount, but it was ok.

Nice to know I have the option of hopping onto the Metro at Braddock if the climb up Valley wipes me out.

Sorry to be a little out of touch these last couple of days. Tomorrow is looking great! I’m planning to call Cap City with our estimated count later on this evening as the patio is likely to be very popular on such a nice day.

Kitty, GeneralSilver and any other newcomers, I hope you’ll be able to make it! Please let me know or post if you have any questions. And don’t worry if you can’t get there right at 5 pm. We’re usually going pretty strong 6 to 7 pm and beyond.
