Great times tonight and a wonderful turnout. Thanks as always to Kathy for putting this together. Here are a few pics from the evening.
The Gang
Fraction man and his stache (HoneyBadger6 is amused)
Shawn’s uncollected prize… again!
It was nice to meet some of the fine BA folks last night. Lots of laughing is always a good thing. Thanks for the lock share DBB. My bike goes from secure to secure and I did not think to bring the light lock until I was already rolling.
Tim’s quote that goes along with the stash combing was good.
I have one concern. It is nice to have Honeybadger6 on the board but I am worried about the other 5 honeybadgers. As we all know “The honeybadger’s really pretty badass.”

The most important reason to come next time is that I’m hosting in my neighborhood! May 16th at the Westover Beer Garden. We’ll be kicking off a new annual cycling holiday: Bike-to-Work-Hungover-Day’s Eve.
Hahaha! I would be honored to participate and will note the date – thanks!

Sorry, Dickie! But must you torment me? It’s been a bad week, and I missed coffee again today too, to boot. I almost tried to track you down in Merrifield on my way home this afternoon, but thought that might be a bit much.

Hello! I just wanted to say that I met a friendly guy last night on the W&OD between the Mt. Vernon Trail and Shirlington who was on his way to this happy hour. I told him I was “new at this” and he could pass me if he wanted (haha). (If that guy is reading this, I was the girl on the mostly white bike wearing the light blue shirt.)
This forum looks to have a lot of useful information about trails in the area and such, so I am glad to have found it! 😮
That would have been me. Sorry you weren’t able to join us. As a new cyclist you must: Get on the forum (done), sign up for Bike to Work Day, and plan on attending the next Bike Arlington Happy Hour.
Welcome to the forum. This is an amazing information and support resource.

Oh excellent! Thanks again for the welcome — on here and out there — and I am looking forward to getting more involved! Would love to find some (very) beginner groups to ride with, and of course, happy hour is always good

There are no other honeybadgers. I kicked all their badasses out of town already.

No worries….. it’s not as if carrying this thing around is killing my KOM’s! Sorry for your week, next time we cross paths just yell “Dentist”… stops me in my tracks!
