ParticipantHello everyone,
Is anyone planning on hanging out after, say 7:30ish? I would love to attend, but I have Jiujitsu training earlier that evening. I plan on competing soon, so I must attend training. There is nothing more rewarding after an intense workout than a cold beer and chatting it up with like minded folks.

ParticipantI think there’s a very good chance folks will still be there. In the past some of these haven’t broken up until after 9 p.m. and 7:30 isn’t all that late. Come join us if you can! All are welcome.
If you come by car, there’s plenty of free parking in Shirlington after 5 p.m.

ParticipantAlso, don’t forget to plan for next month’s (16 May) event in Westover. My neighbor manages the Westover Beer Garden, so I’m hoping we can some extra special specials. He already assured me there will be lots of space and plenty of beer.

ParticipantI am disappointed I will miss the happy hour in my neighborhood next month (out of town)!

ParticipantI think we’re going to have to try to talk Steve (or someone) into having another one there later in the season. I’m going to be out of town as well.

ParticipantNeed more reasons to come to the happy hour tomorrow?
The weather will be perfect, the beer will be cold, and Dickie, CrysB, Steve, Honz, Bobco85, Kelonwheels, Rando Guy, Vicegrip, Consularrider, Rolo, DBB, TwoWheels, Meg, DismalScientist, Sblanco, rcannon100 and I will be there, among others. (Apologies to anyone I inadvertently left out.) In addition, we can have a reunion of Freezing Saddles alumni, a celebration of TxGoonie’s amazing race results (can you join us, Steph?), rev up for #Fridaycoffeeclub (#FCC or #FCCII ?), the National Bike Challenge and Bike to Work Day, and commiserate with Dickie who might need some cheering up after his workday yesterday. I might also want to ask bike questions.
Come meet new and old friends from the forum, and please feel free to show up even as a spur of the moment decision (although it’s still helpful if you can let me know)!

ParticipantCrud, I’m going to miss this, driving to the shore for my Aunt’s 70th celebration. So sad

ParticipantI’m not going to work tomorrow due to some construction work at my house, which will hopefully wrap up by lunch, so I’m considering showing up at like 2pm and just hanging out in the sun.

ParticipantI might have gone, but I have family visiting this week. Maybe next time (although I always seem to say that).

If you do go early PM me and I’ll try to jet out of the shop a little early as well, it all depends on how well I make up for lost time today!
