It’s Third Thursday this week. It there is a certain non-essential portion of our community that could probably use a drink. Shall we convene? Cap City Brewer in Shirlington? We can start drinking at 5.30 p and stop when the govt actually opens?

Due to popular demand, Third Thursday is on for tomorrow, rain or shine!

So far I know of only four people planning to come – klizotte, bobco85, dismalscientist and rootchopper. I made a 5:30 pm reservation for six under the covered part of the patio. The reservation is in the name Kathy/BikeArlington.

I might not make it or may get there late, but I’m sure they’ll be flexible if anyone gets there early or if more tables need to be added.

Of course with government going back into business, that means we must all return to acting like inside the beltway a$$clowns. You know, setting up appointments you never intend to keep, so that you can cancel them to make yourself look all so important.

Well, um, having suggested the Third Thursday libations, I am likely to fink. The puppy run to purceville (yes, that is where the vet is) which was suppose to be today – is tomorrow.

We have five pugles who will be up for adoption, maybe starting this week, through Lost Dog Rescue
