Ok, need to make room in the garage.. Posting these here for first dibs then they’re going to CL this weekend. So consider these Bike Arlington Exclusives! My stuff’s babied to an OCD level, so no junk here..
2008 GT Avalanche 1.0. “Medium” size frame. Bikepedia Specs here:http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=2008&Brand=GT&Model=Avalanche%201.0%20Disc&Type=bike
Nice bike with no issues. Only downside I’ll list to it is that we bought this as a leftover from Performance. Sometime in the time it was sitting there they must have scavenged it for parts, as the rear wheel isn’t an original, and they switched out the brakes and levers from cheap Tektro hydros to Forte cable pulls. Work fine but thought I’d point that out.
Doesn’t go with the clipless pedals, I’ll switch them for a set of platforms.
First $275 owns it. Obviously I’ll list it for more on CL
I live in Winchester, but work downtown, so meeting up is a distinct possibility. Forgive me on a non-work day if I’m not thrilled to drive to DC to meet up, but I am frequently there on weekends so not out of the realm of possibility.
