No, I didn’t think it was meant to be a slap at the French. Paris was first with large-scale bikeshare in a Western city.

But DC already has the private Bike and Roll service. They have kids bikes too, although not for toddlers. The recommended height range for their kids bikes is 3’10” to 4’11”.
