The Warming Climate Prize

With the planet heating up, we may need to upgrade our challenges as Freezing Saddles turns into Sweaty Butts. I’ve already heard some whimpering about how it’s too warm for Freezing Saddles. To keep things on the chilly side, this award will go to the riders who take the most rides clad in their bathing suits. Pictures or it did not happen.

The prize goes to those who post the most swim-suit rides.

Rules:
(1)The swim-suit portion of your ride must go around-the-block, at a minimum.
(2)Only one bathing-suit ride counts per day. Anything additional does not count toward this prize, but be my guest.
(3)You may wear a helmet, gloves, and your choice of footwear. You may not cover up your bathing suit with jackets or other attire.
(4)You must document each ride with a photo on this thread.

Does the bathing suit have to be from this century or is there some minimum midriff requirement?

Looking at the pic of the swimsuit from the Roaring 20s above, that’d easily pass for the skinsuits that cyclocross racers use nowadays.

They do make full body swimsuits in the 21st century that are not wet suits. Or maybe a Burqini as long as you are not in France?

Hmm. If you wore that, um, stylish swimsuit to the pool last summer, then go for it. Otherwise, best stick with your regular swim gear.

Admittedly, a 21st century swimsuit ride puts you “on the spot,” but if I could do it, so can you! I’m not saying it’s easy… Last night’s bikini-ride got the attention of neighbors and passing cars, and my girls were mortified – especially the 11-year-old. Sixth grade is all about fitting in and slipping under-the-radar. It’s weird enough having a biker-mom… and now this?!
