Has anyone else encountered a guy on the Custis trail who makes a warbling bird sound/whistle when he passes? He usually passes me on the western half of the Custis, weekends maybe 6-7pm. Can’t decide if it’s inventive or confusing, or both.
Has anyone else encountered a guy on the Custis trail who makes a warbling bird sound/whistle when he passes? He usually passes me on the western half of the Custis, weekends maybe 6-7pm. Can’t decide if it’s inventive or confusing, or both.
Well, he gets your attention, but if someone mistakes him for a real bird what does it accomplish? I generally filter out bird noises, so if he is good at his imitation, I might not realize he was there. I have to admit to one bird collision and at least one dive bomb attack that missed.
