90% of cycling accidents could be prevented if people just used cars instead. Hey, it’s research from NHTSA. ;)

I just walked around the grocery store this morning with my right pants cuff tucked into my sock. Should I stop doing that? At least I took off my helmet (and disabled the blinky light attached to it).

I am forever walking around stores with the blinky attached to my Banjo Brothers bag blinking. Sometimes a nice person will tell me, and other times I notice the reflection on something and remember and then turn it off.

I have, through mindless force of habit, said “On your left” while walking past someone on an escalator.

I did that in the grocery store to someone this past weekend (and on many prior weekends…). I got a pretty confused look and a mumbled “thank you”…

This is why I use a bell: no one even notices my thumb twitching as I walk by them.

While jogging I’ve frantically tried to ring a bell when passing slower pedestrians
