In that case, I’ll use the unrecorded May trips for when I’m on vacation at the end of June and not riding.
Alas, Cascades ends tomorrow. Just do a few Leesburg to DC WO&D runs today

Being a spreadsheet person, I have everything recorded anyway.
On a side note- if you are an iPhone user, Cyclemeter is a fantastic and utterly pain-free app for tracking miles and routes. It isn’t perfect (at least not without ANT+ sensors) but the price and the convenience can’t be beat. I track every commute, MTB ride, kid-haul and leisure ride mainly because my phone is always in my pocket.

ParticipantMissed my morning ride today, such a bummer. On the other hand, I’ve never been buzzed by a pod of dolphins before, which was a pretty good substitute activity:

Glad to hear that it’s possible to participate in this without any apps. Arlington area has a deep field, with the talents of CCrew
This is an old post to quote, but it just occurred to me – where is CCrew on this challenge? He has over 1000 miles in the Cascades challenge logged.

ParticipantI have two ringers looking for a team. One is from Arlco. The other may be too. Any teams looking for ringers? And we are looking for serious offers here: you know, in the form of beer or onion rings tonite (I take a 10% finders fee 😮 )

I guess I kinda sucked at playing my ringer card. I didn’t get squat. Oh well. I’ll do better next year.

ParticipantI think these guys are looking for two more riders:
http://www.endomondo.com/teams/4471604One of them invited me to leave BikeArlington to join them! 😮

http://www.endomondo.com/teams/4471604Aww, Silver Cycles was my local shop for 5+ years before we moved to Arlington. I hope those guys can put up some points in the next couple of months to catch up.

Aha! So there may be hope for me benefiting from ringer status.
We’ll discuss this at happy hour.

ParticipantHello —
Is anyone else having this problem? I rode 35 miles today (three different rides, the first at 8 a.m.), and when I go to my Endomondo personal page, they all show up. However, for purposes of the National Bike Challenge, the miles have not been added to my total and I accrued no points today. What is going on?
Thanks for any insight.

I had the same problem. 25 miles this morning, 6 this afternoon, and nothing on the points. I think their software is messed up for the monthly switchover. They fixed it last time I hope they fix it this time.Doesnt’ really matter since today’s miles will not get me to 1500 points.

Same here — I like the feeling of progress, though!
Thanks.

ParticipantI think everyone is having this problem. I logged 70 miles today

ParticipantI should probably get involved in this. I don’t use endomondo, can I still log my miles? Is there any way to import them from another app? Also, any teams need another person?

ParticipantYou need an endomondo account, unfortunately. I think the 3 BikeArlington teams are full but the FridayCoffeeClub #2 team has vacancies, last I checked.

I didn’t see this post until now. Contact the one guy from the latest Kill Bill ride who doesn’t have strava… I’m sure he’ll be happy to have more miles on their team.

ParticipantI do have an endomondo account, I just don’t use the app to log my ride (I use runkeeper). I do log my miles manually, however. I have 367 points, not a lot, but if someone is short it might help a little
