ParticipantI rode over to Lost Dog yesterday after work and walked some dogs.
Hannah was really cute and friendly. I guess they need to start the scrubs off with tiny dogs.
Chico liked to sniff cars, of all different types (didn’t know they smelled that interesting).
Dagny was great, so I just chilled with him in his room after his walk. Word of advice — even if you’re fine on the bike, you’ll get cold walking around in your bike gear.
I got out too late to make it to Thanh Son for tofu, but I left a pair of shoes there at rcannon100’s suggestion so that means I have to go back.

ParticipantThursday night we went over and had our first volunteer experience. Walked Feisty and Copper, played with Archie.

ParticipantRode over this morning for a sunrise walk with Bologna, Penny, and Ghost. First time walking Ghost; he spent the first three minutes stretching and rolling around on my feet [emoji7]
Morning highlight was Bologna and Ghost mistaking my visible-from-space overshoes as tennis balls.

ParticipantWas doing Bikenetic hills this morning and realized I had a great excuse to skip the fourth lap of North Barcroft.
Rode over to the shelter and walked Ghist, Gene, and Bologna; also cleaned Gene’s kennel. Then went to coffee. [emoji3]
I’d call this an excellent morning.

ParticipantVery nice. Is little Gene in the cone of shame? Rough patch for her.
I’ll be MIA for a bit (heading up to Vermont to ski), so I’m hoping enough brave souls head out to get ’em all walked during our cold snap.

Yeah, not sure why Gene is in the cone. He wasn’t two weeks ago, and he clearly is still getting used to it, as he kept dragging it while sniffing and catching it on bushes.
Enjoy the slopes! I’m going to try to walk dogs again on Friday. Tomorrow will be too icy to get over there and Thursday, well, single digits might be my cutoff.

ParticipantRode over to the shelter this morning at 7 am and saw a few more volunteers out early with the great weather. Quite a few dogs were adopted over the weekend, and lots of new faces; some great dogs that have been there a little while too. Walked 3.
Ghost (someone needs to adopt him – he’s the coolest)
Conner
And Caramelo

ParticipantI don’t know how Ghost and Conner are still there. I’d take Conner if we could swing another dog.
I’ll be going by tonight to walk some.
