This morning I drove [emoji22] over at 7 am to help out before adoption events today. I walked six dogs (clockwise from left): Ghost(!), Azula, Kipper, Whoop de Doo, Penny, and Bologna.

Hoping some of them.get adopted today.

With a month until the end of Freezing Saddles, I thought I would remind those who have not walked dogs yet how fun and rewarding it is. Plus, there is still plenty of time to get up there in the rankings!

As always, if you live near the kennel, during Wednesdays “blizzard” extra help is prob appreciated.

And remember walking dogs is basically “the first sample is free” to get you addicted. There is so much you can do if you want. Foster. Work Adoption Events. Heavy lifting at the kennel (feed dogs, clean cages, give vaccines). Dogventures. Social Media. Special Events.

Rode over this morning for 7am walks with Oscar, Kloe, Bologna, and Chloe. Also cleaned Chloe’s kennel.

Was glad that I didn’t get to walk my favorite, Ghost, this morning because he got adopted over the weekend!

Demeter needs to be adopted. She doesn’t really like to go too far from the shelter and is just very eager to get back in her bed in her cage (although she was a little more adventurous than a few weeks ago). Chloe had just been walked but I got confused and got her out so took her anyway; she’s a little beast for sniffing out food (which is really easy to do in that parking lot) and I had to pry a huge knee bone out of her mouth. Kloe apparently doesn’t deal well with other dogs, but from what I saw she is a pretty chill doggo that just needs a forever home.
