The Bridge is out

For those of you who use Luria Park, between Gallows/495 and Camp Alger and/or Graham Rd in Falls Church; The bridge at the back of Luria park is going to be replaced shortly. There is a ride around, but its a bit of a cyclo-cross solution. Click on the link below, and embiggen the map.

Coming from Holly Berry Ct. the first 100′ is down a staircase, and the path from there to Camp Alger is thin and a bit beat up. Conversely, the entrance from Camp Alger can be a bit hard to see if you dont know exactly where it is.

If you have a chance it wouldnt be the worst idea to pre-ride it the first time in the daylight.

Thanks for the head’s up. I use that cut through every few weeks or so when I decide to cross the beltway at Gallows instead of LRT.

Update; Looks like the bridge will close either today or tomorrow.
