The Best Sock Game – Pointless Prize

Okay… Freezing Saddles has started and due to the logistics of getting the teams set up, I totally failed on the details of my pointless prizes. Whoops.

So, here is how you go about joining in on the Sock Game pointless prize competition:

Step 1: Wear awesomely cool socks (on your feet) while riding your bike (outside) so that the world can see that you have great sock game.
Step 2: Take a photo of you wearing your awesome socks (on your feet) with your bike in the picture (outside).*
Step 3: Post that photo in one of two places:
a) On Instagram. Please use the following hashtag (if it is not hashtagged properly, it will not be judged since I am lazy and will only look at photos using the hashtag search function): #BAFS2017SockGame
b) Here on this thread if you are a non-instagraming participant.

Now… How do you actually WIN?

I will silently judge you. Well, more specifically, I will silently judge your sock game. I will pick my top ten favourites and then post them for the forum to pick their favourite. The owner of those socks, or at least the person who was wearing the socks for that particular photo, will win another amazingly fun pair of socks**. Probably from BlueQ because their socks are the funnest.

*Bonus points awarded if the photo can also be used for wheels&wings’ “The Warming Climate” prize.
**The winner will need to kindly let me know their sock size and if they have aversion to strongly worded sayings on socks… 😎

There are five-ish days left of #BAFS2017SockGame!

It is getting pretty hard to narrow it down to 10 of the best.
In fact, I have 12 picked that are a cut above the rest.

I will accept entries posted on the forum until 8:00 AM on Monday, March 20, 2017. BUT… The picture must have been taken prior to 11:59 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2017.
Entries on Instagram must be posted prior to 11:59 PM on Sunday, March 19, 2017.

It didn’t seem quite fair to borrow a noncontestant’s kneehigh celeste-and-pink unicorn socks—even I have standards of competition below which I will not slip—so y’alls are welcome. All socks used in competition were my own; no cheeteratingsockbumming was practiced.
