Ahh! I am such a slacker! Sorry I missed the weekend’s rides. But I did get a 42 mile gravel grind done on Saturday (a little extra training for Monster Cross) and then went skiing yesterday (skiing is fun, but not as fun as biking…).

Since I am trying to plan ahead, is anyone planning on doing a Presidents Day ride?

Last time I checked 42 miles of gravel grinding was not slacking

Sorry cancelling tomorrow’s (Sun 2/15) ride due to ice / snow. We’ll reschedule this for another day.

That ride in Toronto only served to reinforce in me, the idea that one can ride in almost any weather if one is prepared.

Whoa… Is that in Fahrenheit? How in the world does one prepare for that?!

I think the Rule #9 award goes to you!

The measured temperature was -25C (-13F).

Preparation involves layers. It’s all about the layers.

That was a GREAT ride despite you tricking me into eating vegan food. Also great to put a few faces to names from the forum.

    Thanks for inviting me!

I was suited up to go and got called into work on an emergency call. To make matters worse the call was someone else’s emergency but I got to clear up their mess.
