    Hi guys! Since I was designated the official “team thread starter”… Here ya go!

    It was awesome to meet everyone at the Happy Hour and I am excited to start gathering some points! I guess this is where we will chit chat and make everyone jealous because we were the first team to start a thread. 😎

    Any suggestions on an actual name?

    I may have to bow out of this one. Someone said 25 miles at Patapsco would be fun on Saturday, and since I have not ridden my mountain bike in a couple of weeks, I need to go play in the dirt! :-P

    Many thanks to dcv, Bikewoman, and the other members and associates of Team Octothorpe who not only let interlopers crash their group ride, but waited patiently — outside, in the cold — while dcv, Powerful Pete, and a good Samaritan fixed my snapped chain. You all rock.

    Ahh! I am such a slacker! Sorry I missed the weekend’s rides. But I did get a 42 mile gravel grind done on Saturday (a little extra training for Monster Cross) and then went skiing yesterday (skiing is fun, but not as fun as biking…).

    Since I am trying to plan ahead, is anyone planning on doing a Presidents Day ride?
