Hey, you’re the one who inserted himself in our team thread, so pay backs are hell.

Sigh. At least our team is out riding (um, when it isn’t like, snowy or icy) rather than arguing about dogs or dawgz.
That must not apply to your team captain who seems to be spending way too much time in the Team 5 thread.

Steve O’s bollards were busted long ago. It’s a lost cause.

ParticipantYay new team standings and welcome Christopher and Fithsparo! Hoping to make up for my missed days through the 8th with some extra mileage. Komorebi, I’d be up for Embassy sweeps and/or a potential ride on Monday afternoon (may or may not make it out for some laps on Sunday at Hains Point – will keep the list informed) as I will be out-of-pocket on Saturday.

ParticipantUp for just about any riding this weekend, with adequate permission on the home front…
As you will note from the pointless standings, I am firmly committed to Hains Points loops… the more, the merrier.
And a pox on the thread interlopers! Don’t use the name of our captain in vain. His awesomeness allows him to swoop into any thread – you should simply be thankful he has allowed you to bask, however briefly, in his ethereal presence!
Oh, and thanks for the drink recipe… I have a… significant weakness for anything involving Gin. Or Vodka. Or red wine… but I digress.

ParticipantHi, I’m Deirdre and just was added to your team. I live in Westover and regularly commute to work in Courthouse (unless its below 25 degrees). Doing a couple inside trainer classes this winter, but will be riding outside on the weekends. I’m off on Monday and would be interested in a ride. Would love to catch up with Sat ride somewhere along the route, can you post up a cue sheet? Pete, I’m always up for loops at Hains Point too!

Welcome, Deirdre!!! We are delighted to have you. I also live near Westover (how come we’ve never bumped in to each other in the neighborhood?). If you are able to meet at the Bluemont caboose at 10 on Saturday, you can convoy down to Alexandria for the Pedals & Pints ride.
Your addition to the team has put us only 100 points behind our arch enemies, Team 5 (so disorganized they cannot even come up with a name).
Let’s go bust some bollards!!!

ParticipantI’ll be coming from DC on Sat, so I’ll try and find you guys. I need to get out and ride!!! And yes, lets kick team 5’s ass!
Steve, I’m sure we’ve crossed paths many times in the ‘hood.
BTW, just changed my forum name to Toonces (instead of my boring initials – dgm), because I like dumb humor like that.

You may want to just ride straight to Port City if you are coming from DC. Our route will be coming in from the other side. We’ll see you there.
I don’t know the Pedals & Pints route. You can check with them if you don’t think you’ll make it by the 11am starting time. Or just go there and then catch up to the group if it’s already left. I think the ride itself will be pretty slow.

For a know it all that buts into other people’s conversations, you should at least get your facts right. The ride is at 10:45, not 11:00. I say this purely for the benefit of Toonces, who is a very nice person. I’ve ridden the Google Maps route from DC to Port City. It is a bit tricky at points but very doable.

ParticipantI like tricky routes and I like beer so its definitely doable.
