Is it Alejandra? Also, I’m going to Le Caprice on 14th Street tomorrow at 11 with another bike friend if anyone else wants to join for some coffeeneuring and hopefully a little riding before the weather gets too bad!

Freezing Saddles Gremlins! When I’ve been kicked off the leaderboard before I had to login on the FS web site to re-authorize it to view my Strava account to get it to work again.

So how do we contact Alejandra? Meanwhile, maybe @chuxtr or @obscurerichard can assist?

Looks like the organizing crew is aware we (and several other teams) are down 1 or more riders.

FYI, if you click on her activities on Strava it says they can not be found. I’m guessing she’s out. Maybe @amsmith wants to request a sub, or give her a few more days?

I realized that after typing that message, and reach out directly to @chuxtr, because the window was closing and messages to the rider and Andrew have been unanswered. We are not out of the woods yet, though. When the new rider requests an add to their Team 6 Strava club, Andrew will still need to do the authorization. We’ll get there.

I posted this message in the “Attention team captains!” thread: Team 6 Captain isn’t communicating so I’m letting you know that we only have 7 members on the leaderboard but 8 in our Strava club. Our missing 8th member, Alejandra Goyenechea, @Bike, is also not communicating. Now when you click on her Strava activities the message “The requested activity could not be found” appears. I’m guessing she’s out so I’m requesting a substitute, if that’s ok? I’m fine with proceeding with 7 but I know there are people on the waiting list who’d like to participate.

Wait, I’m “Bike” on here but not Alejandra. I’m “J H” on Strava, and I think I’m ok on the leaderboard connection other than being among the lower achievers of the group.

You are good on the leaderboard. We have a replacement…I think. I’ve been around the wheel (so to speak) on this issue with chuxtr-who is doing an amazing job, so please recognize it if you run into him-several times in the last 48 hours. I’m working to get the replacement rider up to speed…and then will need to contact Andrew to get that person authorized. Be patient as we work through this. In the meantime #getoutside and #rideyourbike!

    hi all –

excited to be your replacement member! User name Scarabini but real name Emily.
I can commit to biking every day i’m in town but already had to miss a week due to work travel on the west coast, and have a couple upcoming long weekends out of town.
looking forward to meeting you all!

    cheers!

That’s my bad, sorry. I got the username wrong due to poor process-of-elimination skills.

Welcome! And, when you travel, have you considered bike share options (I just rocked the CaBi while I was in DC…yes, I play form a distance these days)? Regardless, I understand, sometimes it isn’t possible or practical. Glad two have you, we will get you added to the Strava Club as soon as possible to make sure you get credit for your efforts. Please be patient.

When I used to travel for work I would visit bike shops and test ride bikes to get in my sleaze rides. Got to ride a lot of cool bikes!

Take pedals, shoes, and helmet and BAM…but make sure it’s a #decasleaze to maximize the points per mile!
