Thanks for posting, the beginning of the WOD is in Shirlington, near Shirlington Rd and South 4 mile run. I usually park in the Harris Teeter parking garage in Shirlington Village.

Participant10:30 on Monday sounds good!
My name is William. I live close to Shirlington. I commute every day about 8 miles one way to Georgetown. I haven’t been riding much on long rides so I feel a bit out of shape (I struggled on the Custis hills last time out). I started riding more frequently since last March and I am pretty much addicted by now. I ride a Kestrel road bike for my fun/fast rides, but commute on a single speed cross bike. It is my first FS and I don’t like the cold, but I am very competitive, so I will really try to do the sleaze ride even on really cold days.

It is in South Arlinton, the mostly flip flop free half of the County (though Shirlington is probably the most flip flop friendly part of South Arlington? Except maybe Penrose?) The loop skirts flip flop central.
We should probably also plan a DC ride – I want to do the length of the newly extended ART.

I love riding the Antacostia River Trail (ART) to Lake Armenia. It’s a 35 mile ride from Haines Point https://www.strava.com/activities/792543489
