Hey– I’m an east side river rider, though all of the other team members I met last night at happy hour were Virginians! I live in Hyattsville, commute to the Palisades, and haunt the Anacostia trails on the weekends. This is my fifth BAFS (in six years. I skipped once). Though I’m HistoryGeek here, I’m Christy in real life (and on Strava)

Well one more Virginian checking in! I live in Vienna and commute to the DC Wharf/L’Enfant Plaza area. Sorry I couldn’t make it last night, but I’m looking forward to racking up some miles for the team!

Hi, Team 20. This is Ken. Good to meet a few of you at the happy hour last night. I’m in Alexandria and commute most days to the Pentagon. Been commuting for a few years, but this is my first Freezing Saddles. Now I have something to push me through the entire winter. That Metro, one mile from my house, looks pretty good in February. Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Most important: Team 20 is probably the best team in the history of Freezing Saddles. We will probably win, so I have taken the liberty of ordering commemorative championship jorts and tank tops.

I ride some, commuting from McLean to DC at least once a week. Bikes are good! Can’t wait to meet everyone. Also we are going to win. Did I mention that?

So, I’m here. Finally. Honestly, I have more trouble navigating through the forum on an iPhone (I still can’t find Pointless Prizes – no hambirder) than riding, but maybe no top 10 for me this year because I’m recovering from an injury. Surgery was New Years Eve! Well, basically pulling some pins out, but I’ve got a ways to go.

I’ll see if I can find us on STRAVA. Calvin Ball is fun btw.

Howdy! I’m Andy from McLean, a block off Kirby Rd. I’m usually a weekend warrior and have been looking for something to motivate me off my ass during my annual hibernation. I like riding all over town and out the Canal or the WOD. most of my weekday riding is after work or late night. CYA out there!

Hey Ashby we have one random dude in our strava group that needs to be booted but otherwise I think everyone is in! And it looks like we are top 10 as of now.

We’re talking over on the Strava thread about meeting up Saturday morning (February at 9am at Philz Coffee in Yards Park. Hopefully a few of you can join! I’ll be biking down and back via the Anacostia Trail, and am happy to lead anyone interested in that ride (either direction)– I live near West Hyattsville Metro so it’s easy to multi-modal if you’d like. I’m also game for a ride downtown– maybe some Hains Point laps? It would be easy to hop up to the start of the Dave Chappelle ride, too.
