Better late than never, the official Team 18 happy hour will be Thursday 3/16.

Let’s celebrate spring and the poor cherry blossoms who will freeze into oblivion for drinks and merriment at the Cherry Blossom Pub at 1841 7th St NW.

Official team 18 convoy will leave from L’Enfant Plaza metro stop at the corner of 7th St SW & Maryland Avenue at 5:15pm. Or just meet us there.

Infiltrators welcomed and encouraged. This pop up pub is an experience not to be missed!

Hey everyone, happy hour is still on, but I have to work late, so sadly I can’t lead the convoy over. So sorry, but I have a raging deadline. I heard the lines can be long, so get there early. I’ll try to swing by later. Regrets! Sarah Bee

Those of us who enjoyed a Sidewalk Social in front of the Cherry Blossom Pub included limeyb (Stuart, team 18), LeprosyStudyGroup (15), Bob James (15) and wheels&wings (15). We never made it in, ’cause of the lines, but we had fun nonetheless.

Wife and I tried to go there last week, and the line went down the block so we skipped it. Hopefully you weren’t too cold out there!

Sorry we missed you all. Myself, LSG, Cynthia (all team 15) and Stuart from Team 18 were there from about 5:45- 6:15. Since no one else was there yet, there was a line, and we knew of no other firm commitments to attend, we left. Not sure how late LSG was planning to stay if we could have made it in to wait, but Cynthia and I had to leave early due to family commitments (Cynthia – kids, Bob – Dogs).
