Okay, so we dropped behind Team 10 this weekend by 286 points. There was little we could do to stop their onslaught with a group ride of 6-7 teamates riding 80-100 miles. I’m very pleased with Team 15’s consistent riding and we had a good ride weekend as well. So no need to be discouraged. Hopefully we can get together for a happy hour and/or ride this week (more to come on both). Way to go Team 15. Remember, if you can’t commit the time to the big ride you would want to do, still go out and do that sleaze ride you can do.

Bob! You’re slacking off!! You better start racking up some real miles soon!

lol, and there’s a good reason to be a team somewhere below the top. The stress level is much lower when you don’t expect anything.

It’s fun to have “friendly” competition. I have a feeling Team 15 will be back in the lead soon. Team 10 will soon fall in the standings due to excessive
    doughnut eating and beer drinking.

And a “team ride” straight to Guantanamo Bay after their arrests for subversive action this coming Monday.

Hmm… That could potentially rack up a LOT of miles!

Team 10’s (or at least my) excessive beer drinking is pretty much year round and won’t slow us down!

Team 15 rode to Leesburg today. We hadn’t planned to go that far, but we were having too much fun and nobody wanted to turn around in Herndon. Our Totally Spoked teammates on the ride were our captain, Bob James, plus LeprosyStudyGroup, Reba, wheels&wings, and – for the last few miles, Nadine. In addition, we adopted Jeanne as our honorary teammate – she joined us on her classy new bike for the first several miles. And we all got low-fives from FFG, who turned around and rode with us for a while as well. A wonderful day!!
    Here are some pictures.
