Please introduce yourselves. As for myself, I am a bike commuter between Vienna, VA and the Farragut North area. Most of my weekend riding is for errand running, but I do the occasional shop ride or long ride. And the very occasional touring/camping ride (probably won’t see any of that during the FS time frame).

I am a bit distracted this weekend to put it mildly, but I will set up a Strava team just as soon as I am able (unless someone has done that already). Team activities TBA in the near future. Tell us what region you are in for planning.

Hey all, I’m getting kind of excited about the capture the flag side bet. The next round ends on Wednesday and I live just off mass Ave (NZ embassy less than a mile away). Is anyone available Wednesday afternoon or evening so we can steal a few flags and maybe gain a few points?

Team Ride! This Monday, February 16 at 10 a.m. at the Vienna Caboose. We will ride 30 miles or until we mutually agree we have fulfilled our recommended daily allowance of Rule 9, whichever comes first. Social pace. Refreshments afterwards. I will bring toe warmers and hand warmers.

Other teams will not be turned away!

I’m begging off . The caboose is 14 miles from me, and I’m only up for about a 30 mile ride when it’s warmer. I’m embracing my Wimpiness .’-)

If it’s still on, I think I’ll still go. Although if it’s like today, I may not ride over or if I do ride over, I’ll get there way early so I can warm back up somewhere. My 16.5ish mile ride this week into work (and into the wind) was just brutal. And I had my wool socks on with my goretex booties plus gloves inside of barmits. But if it’s not windy, I bet it will be 10x easier.
