    Oh, right, introductions.

When I’m not hawking zipper pulls, you can find me commuting between Alexandria and downtown DC, attending coffee club 3-4 times a week, or making fun of Judd’s obsession with Hains Point laps. I suppose I should stop doing that last one, now that his HP laps are earning points for the team. No, who am I kidding? I’m still going to give Judd grief about that. He’s otherwise an enthusiastic — or should I say tenacious? — instigator of group rides and has successfully bamboozled me into riding further than I thought possible, qualities which should make him a good team captain.

This is my third Freezing Saddles. My previous teams finished ninth and second, so clearly there’s only one place for this upward progression to go.

I enjoy route planning, and I intend to submit at least one entry for this year’s [URL=”[link: http://bikearlingtonforum.com/showthread.php?11412-Strava-art-pointless-prize%5D”%5DStrava art pointless prize[/URL]. You all are invited to do the art ride with me whenever I get around to finishing the route design.

Thanks for sharing Leo. Anyone is welcome to ride with Team 15. The more the merrier. And of course, there will be one or more Hains Points laps. Tour buses will be temporarily prohibited from entering.

hmm… apparently can’t edit the title. Come one, come all.

Your Team Captain asked me to pass along the message that tomorrow, Saturday Jan 21st, will be an official team rest day. Enjoy your day off, catch up on some sleep, have some coffee together, read a cycling magazine, etc.

Nice try Bob! What Bob meant to say is that Saturday is a mandatory Century day. Looking forward to us increase the 1st place lead over Team 15 by an additional 1100 points.

I think team 10 is cheating. Take off, eh, you hosers!!!

In all seriousness, nice mileage today folks. Making it tough for us mere mortals to keep up with you. Definitely going to have to step up our game

I’ve hired several bike stunt doubles and turned over the Garmin.

The real Juddler Lumberden had a psychotic break and his alter ego has been furiously pedaling around the country forming underground cycling clubs for well over a year now.

Looks like rain tomorrow. Be safe and stay indoors. Good day for trainer miles.

The first rule of Bike Club is that you don’t talk about Bike Club.

Speaking of Power of 10… are you going to post a 2017 Power of 10? I just did the January century and liked having a thread to post it in.

After the first month of BAFS, we’re killing it. We’re consistently about 100 points behind Team 15.

    Team Accomplishments:
    Team points – 2nd
    Miles – 1st
    HP Laps – 1st
    Sleaze Rides – 1st
Elevation – 1st (after Erik B fixes all of his 36,000 ft climbs)
    Saddle Time – 1st
    Ride Days – 3rd
    Average Speed – 6th

    Individual Accomplishments:
We have four riders in the Top 20 Overall.
We have 6 riders who have ridden every single day.
    Michigander Pointless Prize – Matt
Komorebi looks to be doing really well in the Social Butterfly Pointless Prize.

This looks to be our year. Keep getting on the bike every day and doing your best everyone.
