Phoenix is certainly the easiest. Truly one-stop shopping (or donating).

Phoenix was happy to take them. First time I’ve actually been in there- probably 15 young mechanics scurrying around 500+ beater bikes. Very cool scene.

Phoenix is a great place. Helps kids learn to work and bike. Worthy of all our support.

Recommend anybody who has not visited to go on down to take a look. You will be hooked!

Aren’t they planning to move to a new (and larger) building? I’ve read a couple articles about that. A more visible location, maybe near Shirlington, I believe.

I stopped by there just the other day to get a replacement wheel for my new commuter bike!

The new building is, I believe, spec’d for George Mason and Four Mile Run trail. Fund raiser coming up!

While the fact is a move has been in the works for some time, we are still months away from even breaking ground, much less renting the U-Haul. Many public meetings, MOU negotiations, and permitting hurdles yet to clear (plus money to be raised) before we get there. I’m happy to talk with anyone off-forum if they’ve a desire to help us get there.

In the mean time, please come visit us at our current location in Barcroft Park.

And the new place is being spec’d for Walter Reed and Four Mile Run, right off the W&OD Trail at the base of Superman Hill (as the local kids call it).

Finally, thank you Kevin for the tools. They will help fill out several tool boxes that had missing tools.

    Henry
