#tandemstyle Pointless Prize

at the risk of a “not so baddass” very much not a Rule #9 comment…yes if it warms up. We will be sure to keep tandeming as the primary mode of bicycle transportation these final freezing saddles days! and if I know where we are going, I will post! on the 2nd item, Lemme go look at the spreadsheet. Our travato travels had me so caught up in the life of freedom on the road, I kinda lost track of the things that kept me rooted to the Arlington community, I do remember updating it 1 time, March 4 sounds correct. BRB

Points spreadsheet has been updated. No pic = no points. Repeated use of personal tandeming after first point awarded = points disallowed. Next round of points calculation based on March 15 and forward rides. “So let it be written, so let it be done”

It’s hard to get people to stop to take photos. Saturday I had three, two riding the opposite direction, one on the back of their car. Sunday I had one pass, again in the opposite direction, so no photos, no hashtag submitted in ride title, no points.

Thanks so much for updating this. This is a fun challenge, thanks for offering it. I completely understand “no pics, no points”, but I’m just having trouble parsing this phrase: Repeated use of personal tandeming after first point awarded = points disallowed. Could you just rephrase it?

apologies for the late reply. work has turned into a shit show sucking up all my time making me think deeply about an early retirement! The objective of this PP was to capture other tandem riders, to strike up conversations and get pics of Miss Moneypenny. Objective was lost in my lack of attention due to work and general life issues. Taking pics of yourself riding your tandem gets 1 point but further pics defeats the purpose of the original objective. I hope that helps. In my eagerness to clean up my bookmarks in my oh so messy web browser I am now irritatingly hunting around for the links to the points tally so that I can wrap up this contest. After reviewing all the submissions this morning, looking at all the lovely tandem rides (and finding the correct URL), as Queen Elizabeth of Tandem Love, I declare 5 bonus points for all the Boi rides…sharing tandeming with children is one of the best ways to spread the tandem love. Russ and I are beyond delighted to see all the riding you did. I was bending over to get my coffee for another delicious sip, when my crown slid down reminding me that a humble Queen is the best type of Queen and I thank you for pursuing clarification with such dignity and grace! May the force be with you! Ride Tandem Team, ride! (mixing metaphors is also a deep weakness)
