Interesting. Wonder how it would do in a DC summer? ;)

Ooh, I want one. Every time I get home from riding when the kids are home, my 2 year old walks up to me and says, “Sweaty?”

Anyone use these yet? I’ve tried the Halo headband and Headsweats liner. Both work well for an hour in the Summer. The first time I tried the Halo was on one of the many 100 degree days. I could feel it slowly get over saturated about 30 minutes into the ride. Then at the top of a hill I put my head down and yuck. I just keep misplacing them. Just bought a Specialized Echelon helmet and it has been great without a liner or headband. Must be the all the vents and better padding than my old helmet.

Yeah my son always says “you’re too sweaty” (for hugs) when I get home. Not much I can do about that.

Since I have no hair in the summer I have a few Halo headbands. They’re good as long as you stop and wring them out every once in a while. I could never wear something like in the OP – I lose a huge amount of heat through my head and the vents in the helmet. I can’t even wear a full hat in the winter because I overheat.

sorry, call me old fashioned, but I just prefer the look of a good old sweatband
