ParticipantYou can add a manual entry. Top right, click the orange +, and select “Add manual entry”. Or clicking this link might work too.

ParticipantFYI, for scoring fun it’s best to use the app or GPS, as the Freezing Saddles website uses elevation data, and, most fun, meteorological data (for the “below freezing” etc. counts).
Peter, who just failed to record a quick subfreezing ride with the app, grr

ParticipantThanks…that worked. I will be more careful in the future to make sure my phone is charged.

Yes, I use the app on my phone, but apparently the battery died in transit so nothing got recorded. I won’t have the data you mention in this one instance, which, dammit!, means I lost 21.2 miles of below freezing ride credits!

ParticipantI’ve run into my phone shutting down on some really cold rides. Luckily I’ve got a garmin for my ride data.

ParticipantMy phone just recovered the data from the “lost” ride, all but .8 of a mile of it, so I saved that data a deleted my manual entry that I made last night. So, I’m giving up .8 of a mile in order to get the credits for elevation and riding below 32.
***ah crap…I just realized that in recovering the data 27 hours after the ride started, the app added all that time to the ride, so now it’s recorded that ride as an average mph of .7! That should win some prize as slowest ride of BAFS2015. 20.4 miles at .7 mph.

ParticipantYou and RCannon should go for a ride together.

Pretty slow, vern, but I’ve got a couple of segments that make you look downright speedy!!

I think you can edit a ride through the Strava site (not app). Also, when I’ve had similar happen, I just manually enter the “remainder” ride.

That’s right. Sometimes I fail to stop/finish and end up mapping my indoor movements. I use Strava.com to trim the end of those rides.
