Was it Nietzsche who said “Biking is the proper task of life and art is the proper task of biking”? Anyway, this is the thread to enter for the BAFS2017 “Best Strava Art” pointless prize. The winner of the best entry submitted by March 1 will receive Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”.*
You should post an image of your entry here, along with a link to the ride on Strava. Entries will be assessed by a panel of judges (possibly a very small panel) against criteria including artistic merit, complexity and size/scale.
*Or a prize of equal or lesser value.

Abstract. The citizens like it and see it as art.
Historians will recognize this piece as the inflection point at which Freezing Saddles could be said to be fully imbued with the spirit of late capitalism, and a clear indication of our irreversible decline into decadence.

From my Strava stalking of all Freezing Saddles participants: This was an instance of Strava freaking the F out.

ParticipantIt could have been taken by a drone. Attach a GPS unit to the sucker and off you go….
OTOH, flying drones outside is illegal in DC.
