Stop signs along W&OD between George Mason and Shirlington are gone!

Maybe I missed a post on this, but last night I noticed the redundant stop signs have been removed from the W&OD at the George Mason, Barcroft, and Walter Reed intersections, and were replaced with “Bikes cross on ped signal” signs. Big improvement in my mind, as the stop signs made it seem that bikes/peds still had to stop at those intersections, even though they had a walk signal, which seemingly would give a driver an out if they were to hit someone in the crosswalk; “they didn’t stop at the stop sign!”. Anyway, thanks to whoever made that happen!

Yeah, it’s been a couple of weeks. However, the “Bikes Cross on Ped Signal” signs show the white hand. Most of the light sequence is the flashing red so no one is paying any attendtion, just like always.
