    Sock Guy socks any good? Are they warm enough? Need some wool socks.

    I did it the first year. They gave us tiny hats instead of socks.

    That year was actually tons of fun (couple inches of snow), but from all accounts subsequent years have been far less enjoyable.

    I bought a pair of these last year from Pearl Izumi and loved them so much I bought another 2 pair. Only socks I will ride with in the winter, not cheap but my toes are super happy!

    REI wouldn’t give me the “three for” price AND the 25% off on Smartwool socks, so I only bought two pairs. That’ll show ’em. If the socks weren’t on sale, the “three for 10% off” undoubtedly makes the purchase inelgible for member’s year end dividend, so essential no difference. REI is tricky that way. :/
