Small Patch of Ice on Mt. Vernon Trail, south of Mem. Bridge

A smallish patch of ice is forming on the Mt. Vernon Trail just south of Memorial Bridge. Tomorrows temps in the 40s may melt it, but be careful. Can ride around, or walk for a little, or just take a chance and ride over it. I took this around 4:30pm today (Sunday).

That patch is just about always there in freezing weather since that hillside seems to weep across the trail in all but the driest conditions. It’s fairly short and I just ride across it slowly. There was still some ice there on this morning’s commute, even at 44° with the light rain.
