You’re not stuck in traffic, you *are* traffic.

Patrols of Segways around the monuments and up 15th st.
Crocuses and tourists springing up everywhere.
Clumps of joggers on the MUPs.
A deafening chorus of frogs along the W&OD.
Lots more people everywhere I want to ride. Of course, to each of them, I’m one of the “lots more people.”

Feel free to add…

Coeds promenading on the local paths – the view almost makes up for how clueless and underfoot they are. 😎

Where did your signs of spring go? It’s white out my window! I’m worried this will be the year without a spring and we will jump straight into summer.

I did see some yellow daffodils on Columbia Island if that helps. ;)

Sure Spring in DC. Snow today and then this for tomorrow:

Day Mar 26 Mostly Sunny / Wind
37°F High
Wind: NW 19 mph.
Windy with a few clouds from time to time. Cold. High 37F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph.

Sounds like Spring to me.

Today I’m taking a rest day off the bike. Maybe tomorrow too …

According to NOAA, at 7 am the windchill will be 11!

I blame Dana.

I can almost complete my AM and PM commute without blinkies! And my main headlight has gone almost totally unused since DST.

DST brought my morning commute back into the complete darkness, but my afternoon commute is completely without blinkes. I guess you take what you can get… :)

Pollen beginning to affect my wife is a sure sign that spring is here, snow notwithstanding.

The Cosmic Bobcats scared away the signs of spring. I will hold a grudge for a long time.

Freds* in brewery kits giddily riding the sidewalk.
