There are folks on these boards who commute along the trails in the pitch black dark of night. Knowing that I remove anything I see that might hurt them. This way they can devote their full time and attention to dodging Ninja Joggers and Bambi. It hardly seems fair to raise their degree of difficulty without warning. Ice is bad enough.

There was a 2×4 sticking out and blocking about half of the very narrow temporary path over the Humpback Bridge on the MVT last night. I stopped and tried to move it but it was attached to a bunch of other junk that was too heavy for me. I hope nobody hit that mess in the dark….

In other words, just do the right thing (if you can.) I doubt you can shame the maintenance people into doing their job :)

Cool. Thanks for the replies, everyone. I’ll definitely help out where I can!
