Lockdown has been lifted, according to the W. Post.

Crime happens everywhere. It’s been a rough few weeks with the Navy Yard and today. But overall, life in DC isn’t so bad.

Shutdown then lockdown – exciting times on the Hill. We just watched CNN in an interior office (mine) then had a bunch of meetings cancelled because people can’t get here.

I was wondering if you were there. the intersection on the tv seemed awfully close to your new spot (judging from your bike directions request) glad you’re ok!

Always glad to hear that forum members are ok when things like this happen.

My building was locked down for a while. My street was still blocked when I left work. I had to get off my bike to get through the media scrum.
