Crap, not only did I miss happy hour, but I’m going to miss Friday Coffee Club tomorrow, too. Again, I sincerely hope my absence doesn’t ruin it for the rest of you. Please, try to carry on without me. I know it’s hard, but you must.

Great time last night with a great group of people! Pete and One Eighth and 5555624 got there on the early side,but were soon joined by Rootchopper, Dickie, DismalScientist, Justin Antos, TwoWheelsDC, Certifried, Krista, RCannon100 and his lovely wife Elizabeth (please join us again!), krazyg100, kelonwheels, KLizotte (healing well), Cyclingeconomist (nice to meet you), and Zanna. Thanks all for coming! (I hope I didn’t miss anyone.)

ACL, Jrenaut, Tim and any others who wanted to make it but couldn’t, we hope to see you around soon. Lots of events coming up – Backroads, 50 states/13 colonies, Diamond Derby on the 29th, and the Phoenix Bikes Community Fun Ride (Arlington Loop for lefties) on October 6 (which finishes up about a quarter mile from Shirlington just as Octoberfest there is getting started), so plenty of chances to run into forum friends. TwoWheelTuesdays will also be held at the Shirlington Library each week next month, followed by get-togethers afterwards. Hope to see you all soon – on the trails, at a Friday Coffee Club, at one of the events or somewhere!

p.s. Not sure why one name above keeps showing up as a link, but I can’t seem to get the link off. Does anyone know how I can undo that?
