Secret Tunnel under CSX in Crystal City?

I looked at the entrance to this tunnel this morning. It’s a ramp right next to the underground parking garage entrance there on the access road behind the buildings. The tunnel is posted no public access but if that’s the only way for you to get there, it’s the only way for you to get there.

Maybe it leads to the Federal Statistics Center. I learned from “The X-Files” that the Federal Statistics Center is based in Crystal City. The Center tracks people with certain genetic characteristics in preparation for their replacement by alien DNA facsimiles. Yes, it’s true. I saw it all on TV. Fox Mulder almost died trying to uncover this information. The same could happen to future trespassers. The FSC could be located down there, in the underbelly of Crystal City.

Sounds like they are not following the law relative to federal statistical agencies, especially CIPSEA https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confidential_Information_Protection_and_Statistical_Efficiency_Act

Even more egregious, is, that, I am pretty sure, there are no federal statistical agencies in Virginia. They are all in DC or Maryland.

It’s a trap. By choosing a bicycle-inaccessible location, they’re hoping you all show up in cars. Then they plan to throw the “See: a bicycle is recreational, not a serious transportation device, so there is no need to plow the trails” crap in your faces. Don’t fall in!

By the way, the follow-up meeting will be held at the GW Parkway scenic overlook above Donaldson Run.

P.S. Only one episode in the revival X-Files miniseries remains, scheduled to air next Monday. In case any fans weren’t aware, the series returned to television this year after 14 years, although there was a 2nd movie in 2008. The six-episode miniseries stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi. Duchovny was largely absent during the final two seasons of the original run of the show, but he’s back this year. So far I’ve only seen the first two episodes from the DVR. Ep 1 was decent but not spectacular. Ep 2 was great. Creepy but funny at the same time.

There is a tunnel! I rode through it this morning. When I went through I met a goat legged fellow named Mr. Tamland, and he took me to his his cave, gave me tea. I watched a lion get resurrected, helped defeat the Ice Queen, ruled the land peacefully for 100 years until I was old a grey, then I went back through and it was the same time I entered and realized “Sh*t! I’m going to be late for Friday Coffee club”

Seriously though, one one side it’s a fenced in parking lot with no exit and on the other side is the train tracks. So if you wanted to ride on the CSX tracks, or flatten a penny, this would be the place to do it.
