Seagull Century

Now that the 50 States ride and the PPTC Backroad Century are in the books, who is doing the Seagull Century? Also, any tips from past Seagull Century riders?

I had a really nice ride. In terms of speed, I crushed it. Did it in 5 hours and 51 minutes with an average speed of 17.4. For me, that was huge. I didn’t even look at the stats while riding so for a rider that averages 15.5 most of the time I was surprised. The big helping of headwind sucked.

What a blast! A well-run, huge ride. Heck, you don’t even need a cue sheet, and the tailwinds were amazing.
