    Now if they had only widened the sidewalk over the bridge too!

    You’re right – I was mistaken about that part. They didn’t widen the bridge itself yet, just the areas at each end of the bridge. I think widening the sidewalk on the bridge itself is in the long term plans. Still a big improvement however!
