RSVP on this thread — FS Welcome Happy Hour Celebration – Wedn. 10 Jan. 2018

It’s nearly time for the Freezing Saddles Welcome Happy Hour, our chance to meet teammates and celebrate the start of the 2018 season.
A few reminders:
Date: Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
Time: 6 pm onwards. We will plan on a short presentation at about 7 pm. We’ve reserved the space until midnight.
Location: Bier Baron Tavern, located at 1523 22nd St NW, Washington, DC (between P and Q Streets on the east side of the street)…this is near Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom in DC.
Cover charge (suggested cash donation): $10 per person…all of this will cover food, as Bier Baron has waived its normal rental fees. They will card us at the front door, where we’ll show our IDs and pay the $10 for food.
Bike Parking: Bring a U-lock and any other locks you’ve got, ‘cause we will be parking our bikes on the street. Do not park INSIDE the neighbor’s garden – please keep your bicycle on the outer part of the railing if you lock up to any private enclosures. Other options include Capital Bikeshare and dock-less bikes. Bier Baron is located near the Dupont Circle Metro, if you opt to take transit. If you’ve got a folding bike or you don’t feel comfortable locking your bike outside, or if you forget to bring your lock, the Bier Baron has graciously offered for you to bring your bicycle into the bar. There is only limited space so please send me a PM (private message) if you can.

The weather report looks fantastic: No precipitation, low wind, and temperatures close to a balmy 40 degrees (F) !!

I’m not sure I’ll be able to have a beer from across the country with y’all; it’s probably looked down upon to have a beer in the office at 3 o’clock in the afternoon (my time when the happy hour starts).
