RSVP for Freezing Saddles End-of-Season Celebration and Prize Ceremony 2019

Hi Wintertime Riders,

The Freezing Saddles closing celebration and prize ceremony is just two weeks away. Please join us for what promises to be a funny, tasty, and festive evening.

Date: Wednesday, 27 March 2019 from 6 pm onwards. The prize ceremony will start at about 7 pm.

Location: Bier Baron Tavern, located at 1523 22nd St NW, Washington, DC (between P and Q Streets on the east side of the street)…this is near Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom in DC.

Cover charge (suggested cash donation): $10 per person…all of this will cover food… soft pretzels, quesadillas, and falafel sandwiches. We have extra cash from January so there should be a lot more food this time.

Bike Parking: Bring a U-lock and any other locks you’ve got, ‘cause we will be parking our bikes on the street. Do not park INSIDE the neighbor’s garden – please keep your bicycle on the outer part of the railing if you lock up to any private enclosures.

Hi everyone. It looks like we have close to 40 RSVPs for next Wednesday’s prize celebration. Anyone else? Some of us are using this RSVP list to help determine how much loot we need to purchase. It’s also really helpful to have an approximate headcount for food preparations. So please keep the RSVPs rolling in… thanks! w&w

Does anyone who is coming have the technical savvy and technology to set up an automated slide show of all the cool photos from Freezing Saddles?
It would be awesome to have all those photos scrolling through during the time we are not actually awarding prizes.

There are almost 2,500 photos!! One every 2 seconds would be 90 minutes of slides. Wow.

I can do this if someone from the tech team sends me the photos or tells me how to batch-download them.
