Well, yes. I wasn’t hurt and I really didn’t want this to spoil my fun. I went into the entrance of the safeway at norbeck and bauer to get out of the rain and trued things up the best I could.

I know most of you aren’t riding in upper Montgomery but I thought I’d share regardless.

Rock Creek trail from dewey drive (end of beach drive) all the way to well the end is solid ICE.

The trail simple can’t be ridden or even walked for that matter. I fell walking/riding/hike a biking yesterday probably 5 times. Actually bent my handle bars.
This trail connects the lower county with the upper county and is THE ONLY WAY to get around viersmill rd in the rockville/wheaton area. For thos of you that don’t know Viersmill rd is a death trap, riding a bike on this road is suicide. Montgomery county residence/tax payers paid 5.3 million dollars to build this pedestrian bridge a few years back. It’s completely covered with Ice almost 2 weeks after the snow. This is inexcusable and I would love to know who to connect about this, someone is going to get killed crossing this bridge.

For something referred to as quote a landmark “It’s already becoming kind of a landmark in the county” it’s sad that it’s simply not safe.

Wow, that’s crazy that still is covered. Contact the MoCo Councilmembers. They are surprisingly responsive and very pro-bike. Hans Reimer and Roger Berliner for sure.
