Ths short version: No snow, no ice, no slush, no cars.
By early afternoon, yesterday, all traces of snow had been washed away, so I was not expecting an problems this morning. (If there was snow when you went to bed, last night, you might have some problems.)
It was 40 degrees at 3:00 a.m., so there was no ice. Some spots were dry, but most places were still wet. Columbia Pike west of Route 27 was wet, while it was half dry going by the Navy Annex. There were some dry spots on the trail along the Pentagon and to Memorial Bridge/ The bridge was mostly dry. M Street SW/SE was wet, while Maine Avenue SW was half and half.
If the temperature drops, there may be some ice, but it’s supposed to stay in the upper 30s.
